Foreword by the Director of CIRCLE

It is with immense pride and a deep sense of purpose that I introduce the work of the Centre for Inclusive Research on Community and Disability (CIRCLE). As the Director of this dynamic research hub, I am continually inspired by our team’s dedication to advancing inclusive education, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and driving meaningful change in both academia and practice.

At CIRCLE, we believe that innovation in education begins with inclusivity. Our research bridges theory and practice, ensuring that cutting-edge scholarship translates into real-world impact for learners, educators, and communities. By championing creative and evidence-based approaches, we strive to redefine what inclusive education can achieve—locally, regionally, and globally.

I extend my deepest gratitude to our researchers, partners, and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) for their unwavering support. Together, we are shaping a future where education is not only accessible but also transformative.

I warmly invite scholars, practitioners, and collaborators to join us in this vital mission. Let us continue to push boundaries, challenge conventions, and build an education system that leaves no one behind.

Thank you for being part of CIRCLE’s journey.
